Ok...Pinhole glasses work because they eliminate the area of blur because the light ray allowed to enter the eye is so narrow , landing directly on the retina with little or no deviation.
But...it doesn't "work on everyone , no matter how bad the eyes are ", as you say.
If you are over a - 6.00 diopter correction needed, then the pinhole glasses won't have much of an effect. It only works for those with mild to moderate refraction errors.
And of course, it is only a temporary effect that works as long as you have them on.
