I Have A Poor Eyesight: Please Help Me!

I'm pretty sure that I have more than one of the illnesses mentioned above.
As most of us know these illnesses can be treated by using eyeglasses, Contact lenses and Surgery. But also most of us don't want to use eyeglasses, contact lenses or undergo a surgery for personal reasons. Here are my reasons: First, I don't want to wear eyeglasses because I don't want to walk around school and be called a nerd and be teased all they long and believe people will make fun of you when you are wearing glasses. Second, I hate contact lenses as they make me very uncomfortable and make me want to rub my eyes always. Finally, surgery is expensive and I'm scared.
Last month I started talking up a program by Dr. William H. Bate to help me with my Macular Degeneration problem. And so far so good I can tell that I'm recovering very fast without the use of those things that I don't like. To tell you personally all were just simple exercises for the eyes that you can where ever you are anytime you want. Basic exercises but with the guide from an expert it is very useful. As I'm typing this write now I am exercising my eyes, it just became as second habit.

Why does some many people in China wear glasses?
When i watched Obama talking to the students there many had on glasses .I see nothing wrong with it at all but wonder if they have bad eye sight reason i ask is i know of two woman that adopted girls from China.Wonder if they should worry about their childrens eyesight.
